Building a New City Empty Building a New City

Post  Gunnar Wed Aug 05, 2009 11:43 pm

I'm considering building my first town. My understanding is that the level of the flat does nothing for you. Of course, level 1's are easier to conquer so those are the ones you want to use. Anything else to add to flat selection for new towns?

Thanks,
Gunnar

I would suggest building near you, so you can transport and reinforce easily. That is unless you have a reason for going further away... not sure what that would be, but could happen.

Building a New City Empty distance between homes

Post  Montroseo Thu Aug 06, 2009 7:39 pm

One reason to set up further away, would be so our allliance can reach out and touch someone. Createing an alliance web. * Cut the distance from one member to the next. affraid

Building a New City Empty Re: Building a New City

Post  Gunnar Tue Aug 11, 2009 11:58 pm

Despite the crappy location of my main city, I'd like to build a second one wherever we have our main concentration of forces. This is both to hopefully get help defending my fledgling new town, and to eventually contribute to our force in that area. Where (roughly) should I look to build such a city near other alliance members?

Thanks,
Gunnar

Building a New City Empty Ask

Post  Montroseo Wed Aug 12, 2009 3:56 am

I would just ask on line.
"Who would like a new neighbor?" Then scope it out.
  1. Good school system?
  2. Does the garbage get picked up regularly?
  3. Is it a quiet area, or are there bars and do they close at 2 am or 4 am?
  4. Will you be able to stagger home unmolested?
  5. Is there a police or gang presence in the neighborhood?
You know the normal questions one would ask considering a major move in ones life.
