Creating NPC Cities Empty Creating NPC Cities

So you had some bad luck and are nowhere near a nice NPC city of the right level to plunder. Here's how you can "create" one. You do have to be able to start a new city, so if you aren't yet a Knight, or already have as many cities as you can own, you need to get promoted so you can build another city.

Promoted? Ready? Find a flat of the same level that you would like the new NPC city to be. Conquer it. Build a town. You don't need to add anything to it. Now abandon it. (You can find the "Abandon" button in the Town Hall under the "Cities" tab.) Be careful not to abandon your main city! Abandon the city you just created.

In its place you now have an NPC city of the same level that the flat was before you started.

Remember that every morning (server time) the server "updates" and each unoccupied flat and valley moves up one level. A level 2 becomes a 3 for example. Level 10 flats and valleys go to a level 1 during the morning update.

Don't do this to TOO many flats around you. The NPC cities will now be permanently that level. As you get stronger you will want NPC towns of a higher level, so save some flats for future NPC towns of a higher level.

Now plunder!
